and i saw him filming a MTV near my house at night (on monday)! so cool, all of them wearing like 1920s shanghai clothes and wah for a 1 min clip they have to do super a lot of times- from all angles lah! and wahhh- i was standing behind the director, so i could see what angle the camera was shooting from! and wahh- he walked super close to me when he came to speak to the director (hahaha- american accent woah!)

i had two angmoh kids in my class today- their mom is chinese, but oooh sooo cute!!

and i found a book on the early history of singapore and they mentioned a lot of tigers tooo!!!! YEY!

i watched the simpsons movie at bugis!!! and it was sooo funny!! hahahahahah

bugis junction is having some thailand fair thing now then got some models (quite scary- all the girls look the same) posing on the platform



i went to the nat museum also and there was this guy doing an artwork of a peacock on the floor with coloured powder!!! WAHHH i think they tried to make them do that in the amazing race b4! that indian guy was amazing lah!!! he just used his hands and the patterns were so precise!

i was slugging in front of the TV and surfing the net then my grandmother called me to come and look at the pigeons downstairs- quite funny lah they were all perching in a line, like queueing up for food like that! (hahah- singaporean pigeons mah- they also believe in order)

then after i plopped down she called me to the kitchen to ask me look at the LONG, SUPER SUPER LONG queue at the immigration building! WAHHHH- they closed for like 4 days and at 7 plus already got ppl queueing up and like 20 mins later there were like rows of queues turning and twisting around until they are queueing outside the building

i woke up at like 720AM this morning to go to school to do microfilm.
then i remembered to check my email to see dr E's reply on what shld i do next after i finished 1932 microfilm reels (there were 12 of them lah! one for each month coz everyday's edition was like 20 pages by then- so like one month will have like around 480 pages of newspapers)

hohoho, i dont have to go NUS for microfilms~!!! YEY! dr E wants me to go to national lib to research (wah- i like! near my house!) BUTTTTT i washed my hair and showered alreaddddyyyyy!!! booo

hai. i kind of regret extracting my wisdom tooth, i went for an "BIG" Xray today (wah- it was quite scary with the machine making weird noises and the woman scurrying for the door after she activated the machine- i later realised that she was quite heavily pregnant) anyways- the xray showed that i have 4 wisdom teeth and the erupted one (which i extracted today) is the only normal one (as in it wont affect the tooth beside it) but the remaining 3 will!! BOOOO, i feel so sad now for pulling out my normal wisdom tooth T-T

the dentist (v. young guy) just told me, "actually u dont have to pull it out, but if it hurts (i wondered briefly if i imagined the throbbing at night) and since u wont be able to bite down prob anyway even when the bottom wisdom tooth erupts, we can just pull it out NOW. its a simple procedure! we can do it HERE and NOW." wah piang. so i did it, and he injected the anaesthesia like super a lot of times and out came my poor tooth, which he said was perfectly healthy and nice! boooooo- i feel so sorrowful for my (rather senseless) act of dental homocide

YEY! i finally got to try waraku pasta!!! it was not bad!! (just that hui hui's order got mixed up- but the ppl there are funny-very eager to serve kind- and nice- as in smiling face kind of nice, not like the dimsum place at vivo man) i LOVE pasta! and i now think that jap pasta is nicer than italian pasta! hahaha (: and i love talking to hui hui! (esp when she and charlee are not ganging up agst me! haahahha)

then i went home to MISTER DONUTS!!! YUMMMMMMY!!! i was super full but i still ate the donuts (my mom commented that the donuts are like mooncake- they come once a year when my aunt returns from taipei)





tmr is my self-declared holiday! my eyes are super tired and i keep getting headaches. bleah. when will the microfilm thing endddd?! wah- speaking abt microfilm- the lib kept sending me emails (3) over the weekend saying that i didnt return like this reel of microfilm on friday and like there will be a fine! pleassse..... why would i want to steal yr reel?! and it will BEEP lah when i walk out of the library! so i had to stand at the counter for like 15 mins today while they look for THAT (66hours overdue) reel and my other requested stuff. and in comes the freshies-to-be (the enthu ones) on a chinese-speaking library tour (ALMOST ALL of them are wearing black lah! enthu club issit?!) and one guy in the grp is crazy- keep taking photos of the lib and the grp- think he is pro-wedding photo shooter like that, when the woman was talking. and i came across so many foreigners today!like a group of korean ppl, china ppl and vietnamese/burmese ppl wandering around (they are too old to be students) taking photos of the library. GOSH. i see more foreigners after they installed the card access entrance thing lah! what irony

and i shall save the rest for pending grad trip (HA.that is if my mom ever let me go for one)

my mother kept going on abt this Anya Hindmarch bag (its sale in HK and taipei went ABSOLUTELY CRAZY- it is only 23bucks SING- i think) and will be out in singapore (according to my all knowing mother) in august. i happen to walk past the shop yesterday at taka!!! never noticed it b4- this bag is a super successful publicity stunt lor- other than the "it is a 100% environmental friendly bag- lets save our beautiful earth" tagline.

THURSDAY- miss kiasu keshia lai booked me for this day to bring her to pig out (she had prob been chanting "I WANT SINGAPORE FOOD! I WANT SINGAPORE FOOD!" everyday for the past 2 years, so must fulfill her pent-up desire! hahah) SORRY KESHIA! hahaha- i was pretty late (really thought the meet-up was at 1130am, then u sms to say that u are going to be late, so i took my time. and the next thing i knew! you called me at the bus-stop to say u are at harbourfront already! *smack forehead) Dawn chan (the ultimate late queen was next to arrive)- she knew it was at 11am k and she arrived at 1135! 0_0 hahaha

okay. am super tired coz i took a 2 hour lunch break- to eat and get gown mah. so i had to rush back and work (sans my prison break coz no time no time) i aim to finish one reel of newspapers (6 months) a day- so i speed read from march onwards to june (wah-its damn a lot lor-- see. 4 months X 26/7 days X 4 pages of tiny print plus the glare of the machine). okok going to sleep liao

primary was fun today- school reopens tmr, so all the kids are back haha. i was really quite unused to seeing so many kids in junior primary. abish got them to play a game so mark and i were stationed outside, to let the kids figure out the blanks in the handout and sing the song to us. hahaha. had to do my class presentation for sharing time too and after a lot of planning, haha- i ended up just showing 3 pictures that my kids (seth and rachel) drew last week. seth is super talented!! he drew a fantastic drawing- i shld really take a picture of it- or send it to FRIEND mag. hmms. hahaha. and i, hahaha, got the kids' "undivided attention" when i took out my candy bag and shook it hard in front of them. that stupid mark blamed me for ending too early (which meant that his lesson has to be longer)hehehe

andrea, my dear student is here today!! yeyyers~!! i havent seen her in months and she is still so cute (should practise my spanish with her someday- haha) my class was amazingly long today :) andrea wanted to colour and of course the candies helped.

am quite tired now- yesterday we had dance prac in the afternoon then institute then after that we went to vivo at night with my cousins. charlene was neh-nehing that she wants to shop and that she had not seen vivo yet- anyways- she drove, so i dont mind, wah, but VIVO IS SOOOOO CROWDED ON A SATURDAY!!! we walked up and around and in the end, we went down to the basement to eat at Thai Express. and i went to top up on candies at giant. hahaha. then we walked around and around and around. went back to river island (charmaine got my wallet too. bleah!! now they have the silver one- which i liked bettter- their wallets are reasonable- $45, but bags are ex man. wait for my pay. wait for my pay.)

today, my cousins came over (all that are in singapore) hahaha. which means that we all cant take a proper nap haha-caylynn just gave up and slept with my dog henry on the sofa in my room

woooohoooooo i finally worked like a full day today! (since i only work 20 hours a week- i thought i shld just work 2 full 10 hour day a week- like from 8-plus am to 6pm and have the rest of the week freee!!!) but since its already a friday, i guess i have to start next week all over again. but oh boy, my eyes really hurt from staring at the fine newspaper print, plus the rather painful glare of the microfilm machine. boo. and i had to turn down a movie date for this.bleah.

anyways, we were so lazy that we ordered mac delivery from the library itself (there is a mac just across the road) and they said it would take 45 mins (erm..) quite dumb actually since abby rightly pointed out that in 45 mins we can walk to mac and eat and then come back. anyways, the delivery came and there were no straws, all the fries are soggy (and one of the girls was annoyed that they dont have shaker fries for delivery- WHY?! that's so dumb.)-so in the end, i had to go down to kope some straws from gecko...

oh. and then- i found a laptop in the toilet cubicle at the end of the day! gosh- IBM one i think ( i only unzipped the bag to see if its really a laptop, u know they keep playing the how-to-spot-a-terrorist-and-call-the-hotline vid at the MRT stations that it gets u a little paranoid abt suspiciously-ABANDONED bags,haha. so i gave it to the lib staff who got excited, haha coz its so slow and quiet in the lib now that they are almost quite happy to serve u.

then i watched clarissa's dvd THE BEST 2 YEARS! OMGOSH!! it was sooo good!! thanks dear~!!! loved it! and holland is sooo pretty! reminded me of the movie DAISY actually :)

okok, am going to put cucumber on my poor eyes now

i dont remember when- but they are all in my phone and i just transferred them to my ibook. clarissa and i went to sun with moon at Central! hahaa very nice deco and nobody at all- so we can take a lot of stupid photos
